The Good Governance Committee of the National Council held a consultative meeting with the National Pension and Provident Fund (NPPF) on 8 April 2026 as part of its ongoing review of the Pension Scheme.

This engagement builds upon the Committee’s broader review process, which includes a series of stakeholder consultations conducted across the country. The meeting with NPPF focused on deliberating key issues and concerns raised during consultations, particularly those relating to the effectiveness, inclusiveness, and sustainability of the current pension system.
