The Good Governance Committee conducted a consultation meeting with the Royal Civil Service Commission and the Dratshang Lhentshog as part of its ongoing review of the Pension Scheme.

The consultation was aimed at gathering insights, experiences and feedback on the existing pension system. During the session, representatives from both RCSC and Dratshang Lhentshog shared a range of challenges and concerns related to the current pension scheme.

Representative from Dratshang Lhentshog also delivered a brief presentation on the current Dratsang Welfare Scheme, outlining its objectives, coverage and existing support mechanisms initiated by laytsho Drungchen Office. The final findings and observations will be deliberated during the upcoming session .
