14 April 2026On the 23rd day of the 2nd Bhutanese month of the Fire Male Horse Year, the Hon’ble Chairperson, Members, and Secretariat staff offered prayers at the ongoing Jana Chidhoe Kurim at Pangrizampa Lhakhang, Thimphu.
The annual ritual is conducted for the wellbeing of all sentient beings, with special prayers dedicated to the continued wellbeing of His Majesty The King, His Majesty The Fourth Druk Gyalpo, and Members of the Royal Family.
The Kurim is being presided over by the former Tshogki Lopen of the Central Monastic Body, along with monks from the Pangrizampa College for Astrology.
