As part of its preparations for the 37th Session, the National Council convened a pre-session plenary today, chaired by the Hon’ble Chairperson.

During the plenary, committee chairpersons presented updates on their respective work, outlining key findings, observations, and challenges identified through their reviews and consultations.

Hon’ble Members actively participated in the deliberations, offering constructive feedback and recommendations to enhance the committee reports.

The session also featured a briefing on the proposed agenda for the 37th Session. The formal inaugural session of parliament is scheduled to begin on 14 May 2026.
